2022 Senior Spotlight
McKenzie was a multi-sport athlete: 3 year Volleyball Player; 2 year Varsity Softball Player; 3 year Varsity Track Team; and ran Cross Country for 3 years. She was also on the AB honor roll for 3 years, and she maintained all A’s her senior year. In addition, Kenzie was active in FCCLA for four years and served as Club Representative this year and was in Student Council for three years. Her future plans are to attend NTCC to earn her degree. Following this, she plans to attend UT Tyler to further her education to become a OB/GYN.

Kelci was selected as the 2022 PHS Prom Queen. She was a multi-sport athlete: 3 year Volleyball Player; 4 year Varsity Softball Player; and 4 year Varsity Track Team. She was also on the /AB honor roll all 4 years. Although she was already very busy, she also was in FCCLA for four years and served as secretary this year and was in Student Council for four years. Her future plans
are to continue her education at UT Tyler to become a nurse.

2022 Senior Spotlight
Aubrey participated in Varsity Band from 8th grade till 11th grade; being on the Leadership team for the last year. She played with the Tennis team on JV for 9th grade and Varsity from 10th through 12th grade. This year she placed third at district and was a Regional alternate. Aubrey also participated in National Honor Society from 10th grade to 12th grade. This past year she was involved with UIL, Yearbook, and the Live Streaming Broadcast Team at Football games. Aubrey was accepted into the NTCC Honors College and will further her education to become a lawyer.

Devon has worked hard to become a PHS graduate. His future plans are to become a member of the workforce.

Natalie was a member of the varsity volleyball and track teams during her freshman and sophomore years. She has been a part of the Student Council all through high school and served as vice president her senior year. Since her sophomore year, she has been a part of the National Honor Society and served as an officer her junior and senior years; she also served as the junior and senior class vice president. Natalie has been a member of the varsity cheer team since her sophomore year, serving as captain her senior year. This young lady was also selected to serve on the Superintendent's Student Committee, Tomorrows Leaders Today, yearbook, and Phi Theta Kappa through NTCC. Throughout high school, she maintained an all A average which placed her in the Top Ten, was an All-American cheerleader her senior year, was chosen as a “Cheerleader of the Week” by the Friday Night Scoreboard with Pigskin Bob and Harlen, Miss PHS and was chosen as a Brahma of the month. She was selected as a Terry Scholar which provides her a full ride scholarship to UTSA and will be a member of the honors college starting this fall.

Brooke has been a member of Student Council for the past four years, and served as president during her senior year. She has been a member of NHS for the past three years, a member of the TLT committee, and the student section leader for the past two years as well as a varsity athlete for two years. Brooke earned her spot in the Top Ten by taking all honor classes during high school. Her future plans are to attend the University of Texas at Arlington and pursue a degree in nursing.

Iddy has been very active during his 4 years at PHS. He has been involved in FCCLA for 3 years, varsity basketball for 2 years, varsity track for 1 year, varsity cross country, and varsity football for 1 year. His awards include being selected as 14-3A honorable mention in basketball and the Brahma Pride award for basketball and track; he was also an Area and Regional qualifier in track. His future plans are to go to college and major in business management.

Lauren has been an active part of our Brahma Kitchen. She has been a member of FCCLA and has often helped prepare and serve lunches for our Brahma Backers.

Kennedy had been a part of FCCLA for 4 years and has been involved in numerous bake sakes, preparing press box meals as well as cooking for teachers. Her future plans are to attend NTCC to pursue a degree in Nursing and eventually become a RN.

Lauren has been an active member of many organizations in the school. She is a member of the National Honors Society, Student Council, and avidly participates in the Pewitt FFA. She has served as the chapter Reporter for the last two years. She participates in Leadership Development Events like Radio Broadcasting and Senior Skills. She also participated in the Career Development Event, Entomology in which she got 8th place individually at the area contest and advanced to state. She has also shown Brangus heifers on the Pewitt heifer show team for three years and will be attending Texas A&M University to obtain a degree in animal science.
