Important Update Regarding 21st Century ACE After-School Program

Region 8 ESC will not apply for the next cycle of the federal grant that funds our ACE program due to new requirements that are not feasible for participating districts.

What This Means:

• Through June 2026: The ACE program will continue operating normally through the end of this school year, which includes the summer program offered in June. Students currently enrolled can continue participating with no changes.
  
  

• 2026-2027 School Year: The ACE after-school program will not be available.

We understand this change may impact families who have valued the ACE program. While we are disappointed to lose this resource, we want to give you as much advance notice as possible so you can make arrangements for the 2026-2027 school year.
