During Blue Ribbon Week, our Junior High had a competitive fundraiser, a penny war. Blue Ribbon Week is held to raise awareness of child abuse. Each 2nd period class competed for the most change. The plot twist was that you could sabotage other classes by adding silver change to their jug to decrease their value. We ended up raising $1,052.57 total in one week, and the class with the most got a pizza party. Mrs. Stewart's 2nd period succeeded in winning by raising $257.46. Congratulations to these kiddoes! The proceeds went to the Morris County Children Protective Services Board.
Students are L to R:
Back Row: Claire Wilson, Kyley Croley, Caleb Simmons, Elijah Hill, and Justin Benitez
Front Row: Coach Stewart, Journey Henderson, Brody Ashley, Madison Loffer, Jay'cee Alvarez, and Avery Perry
Not shown: Jaedon Azcarate, Logan Friday, Misael Mendez, and Dustin Nevels
