Kindergarten has been having some amazing learning experiences within the last week! They rounded out Texas History month with the traditional Buck-A-Roo day where they ate chili and pecan pie and took turns racing wild stick-horse mustangs. Then the Kindergarten classes took a mini safari in the deep jungles and prairies of the Caldwell Zoo. Just in time before Spring Break, park rangers from the Daingerfield State Park gave a class on wildlife safety with animal furs, toy replica snakes, and real life turtles to help out students keep their curiosity safe as they play outside. The kindergarten team wishes to thank the Pewitt administration, parents, and volunteers who helped make these learning experiences successful and fun for our students!
